Management System Policy

“At Geltech, we prioritize quality in our management system.”

Geltech Metal has implemented and established a management system with a focus on the content of the RBA code. The Management System Policy of Geltech Metal is intended to ensure:

    - compliance with applicable laws, regulations and customer requirements related to Geltech’s operations and products;

    - conformance with the RBA code; and

    - identifying and mitigating operational risks associated with the RBA code

Geltech Metal established and implemented a Quality Management System based on ISO 9001 to ensure that the products delivered meet our customers' needs and expectations. Moreover, we commit to the following:

    1. Lowering the number of accidents, injuries, and the environmental impact of our operations and products.

    2. Continuously improving all aspects of our operations and processes using Geltech's correction and corrective action procedures, as well as the development of key performance indicators to track progress.

    3. Considering the health, safety, and security of our employees and communities.

    4. To protect the environment and reduce our environmental impact, we work collaboratively with our customers, suppliers, and local government units.

    5. Establishing a forum for open communication with all stakeholders.

    6. Finance employee training that is needed to aid us in meeting our objectives.

    7. Making certain that this policy is understood, updated as needed, and followed throughout Geltech Metal & Engineering Services.

The Quality Manual of Geltech Metal is developed as a primary reference document for all quality-related activities carried out by the organization in order to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the management system and facilitate continuous improvement.

Geltech Metal aims to maintain a management system that includes the following components:

1. COMPANY COMMITMENT

The Top Management of Geltech Metal has developed a “Quality Policy” to align with the company's goals and aspirations of achieving leadership in metal fabrication and precision tooling, satisfying customer requirements, and continuously improving the Quality Management System.

Geltech Metal is committed to measuring and continuously improving our strategic objectives, which include:

    - Ensure the safety of employees, stakeholders, processes, and products.

    - Ensure compliance with regulations.

    - Continuously improve customer satisfaction, and operational excellence

    - Continuously improve employee satisfaction

    - Continuously improve operational excellence

Quality Policy of Geltech Metal

    - We at Geltech Metal & Engineering Services put quality as our main priority.

    - We therefore commit ourselves to profitably fabricate quality metal products and precision tools and deliver them consistently on time; and render quality engineering services to satisfy the requirements of our valued customers and other interested parties.

    - We will maintain continual improvement by addressing risks and opportunities while establishing and maintaining partnership with all our employees, customers, community and environment.

Management has ensured that this Quality Policy is understood, communicated, and reviewed on a regular basis to ensure that it remains relevant to the organization's mission. The quality policy statement is distributed to all employees and is displayed throughout the facility.

2. MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITY

The Top Management of Geltech Metal is responsible for ensuring implementation of the management systems and associated programs. The management system of Geltech Metal is being monitored on a regular basis and during the monthly meetings.

    - Employees are accountable for completing all tasks delegated to them.

    - Employees are expected to complete their assignments on time and in a professional manner in order to demonstrate their responsibility.

    - Management denotes power because managers have the authority to give orders to their subordinates and influence them to work in accordance with the policies of Geltech Metal.

    - Employees are held accountable for their overall performance, while managers are held accountable for the institution as a whole.

    - Employees who fail to perform their responsibilities are held accountable by their immediate supervisors.

3. LEGAL AND CUSTOMER REQUIREMENTS

Geltech Metal is dedicated to identifying, monitoring, and comprehending all relevant laws, rules, and guidelines, as well as customer criteria, such as those set forth in this Code. Therefore we shall ensure the following:

Legal Requirements

On time renewal of our legal requirements and permits such as

    - DTI certification shall be renewed every 5 years.

    - Annual renewal of certification of fire safety inspection and sanitary permit.

    - Quarterly renewal of business permit.

    - Driver licenses of all our company drivers are updated and shall be renewed before the expiry date.

    - Renewal of our ISO certification every 3 years.

On time payments of statutory and regulatory requirements such as:

    - Government mandated benefits payment remittances shall be done monthly.

    - Quarterly payment for business permit.

    - Payment of taxes.

    - Monthly payment for company utility expenses (electricity, water, internet, and other supplies)

    - Compliance to payment terms agreed upon between Geltech and the external providers of raw materials.

    - No delay in employee compensation, statutory benefits, as well as 13th month pay.

    - Submission and/or reporting of documents such as:

    - Monthly submission of workplace accident and injury report as well as COVID19 cases (if any) in compliance to DOLE’s requirements under the OSH program.

    - Reporting of newly hired employee to SSS, Pag-Ibig, Philhealth and, BIR.

    - Compliances on tax rules and regulations.

    - Right and affordable prices and discounts

    - The quality of the products or materials used in manufacturing process

    - A product performs its intended purpose and does not have negative environmental impacts

On behalf of Geltech owners, the HR/Admin Department will act responsible for the completion of the legal requirements while the Sales Department for the customer requirements.

4. RISK MANAGEMENT

Geltech Metal strives to effectively manage risk in order to protect the company's assets, stakeholders, the environment, and reputation while also ensuring business objectives are met.

Geltech Metal is committed to gain a better understanding of the risk-benefit ratio and to reduce the likelihood and consequences of negative effects to acceptable levels.

To achieve continuous improvement in risk management, we strive to engage appropriately, increasing the degree of certainty in achieving our objectives.

Geltech Metal will make every effort to develop, implement, and maintain sound risk management practices and systems that are consistent with international best practice (as defined by ISO 31000) and address the following objectives:

    1. Provide a systematic approach and management to risk identification;

    2. Establish consistent risk-assessment criteria/matrix;

    3. Make accurate and concise risk information available to inform decision making, including business direction;

    4. Adopt risk-lowering strategies that are both cost-effective and efficient in terms of reducing risk to an acceptable level; and

    5. Monitor and evaluate risk levels to ensure that risk exposure remains within acceptable limits.

Risk management is a continuous process that consists of the following key steps:

Step 1: Risk Identification: This enables Geltech Metal to anticipate and mitigate potentially harmful events before they occur. We will be able to identify risk at this point by describing it, its root cause, and its consequences.

Step 2: Risk Assessment: This step includes determining the potential impact of an individual risk by measuring or otherwise assessing both the likelihood that it will occur and the impact if it does occur, and then combining the results based on risk rating to give a single measure of potential impact.

Step 3: Risk Treatment: This involves formulating strategies and planning for dealing with the identified potential risks.

Step 4: Risk Monitoring and Review: Geltech Metal will consistently and continuously monitor the risks through the use of the Risk Register, which will be reviewed during monthly management meetings.

6. TRAINING

Geltech Metal is committed to providing training to all of our employees in order to manage performance and competency. We will ensure that our established "Training Needs Analysis Procedure" is effectively implemented in order to systematically identify the training needs of Geltech employees.

7. COMMUNICATION

Geltech Metal is committed to effective information dissemination and receipt, as well as communication within the organization and with external stakeholders.

Geltech Metal is committed to determining a company's capability to facilitate and improve internal communications by providing a framework that enables to:

    - Encourage employees to connect with others on a variety of levels.

    - Invites two-way qualitative communication.

    - Easily access key information and communicate with Managers, Heads of Department, Supervisors, and Owners.

At Geltech, we have a commitment to communicate. Top management and supervisors are responsible for ensuring that all employees have access to specific information and are able to engage and motivate them when speaking with them.

Modes of Communication

    1. Face-to-face communication is strongly encouraged whenever possible.

    2. Electronic communication (email, Geltech website, and official group chat) especially for a sudden announcement.

    3. Internal forms of communication, including management and general monthly meetings, company memoranda, procedural documents, awareness seminars, training, and bulletin board displays.

8. WORKER FEEDBACK, PARTICIPATION AND GRIEVANCE

Geltech Metal provides a feedback and complaints system through our open communication policy and grievance mechanism to ensure that our employees work in a safe environment free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.

9. AUDITS AND ASSESSMENTS

Geltech Metal implements an internal quality audit procedure to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, the RBA Code, and customer requirements. Geltech Metal is committed to ensuring that the entire quality management system is appropriately assessed and implemented.

10. CORRECTIVE ACTION PROCESS

Geltech Metal implements a correction and corrective action procedure to address deficiencies identified by internal or external assessments, inspections, investigations, and reviews in a timely manner. This procedure applies to all actual/potential problems and non-conformities relating to products, processes, and quality management systems that require correction and corrective action of problems occurring in all of Geltech activities.

11. DOCUMENTATION AND RECORDS

Geltech Metal implements the document and record control procedure to ensure that all documents pertaining to our quality management system are reviewed and approved. This procedure applies to the company's internal and external quality-related documents.

12. SUPPLIER RESPONSIBILITY

Geltech Metal implements a procedure for evaluating our suppliers in order to monitor supplier compliance and ensure that Geltech's requirements and criteria are consistently met.
